WHERE AND HOW?
We’ll begin symbolically — with a glass of wine at Vinograf on Senovážné Square.
Then we’ll head together to the beautiful Church of St. Jindřich and St. Kunhuta, where the traditional Czech Christmas Mass by Jakub Jan Ryba will be performed by Markéta Fassati and her guests as part of the Kostelní slavnosti (Church Celebrations) series.
Members of the Czech Business Club and their guests will have exclusive seats in the organ loft, where the music resonates with unique acoustics and a magnificent view over the illuminated church.
It’s an experience that words can’t describe — it must be felt.

After the concert, we’ll continue to the Czech Business Club at Národní 21, where we’ll be welcomed by the warmth of candlelight, a glass of wine, punch, and homemade Christmas cookies by Petra.

IF YOU CAN’T STAY THE WHOLE EVENING
Stop by for a while — for a glass of wine at Vinograf,
for Markéta Fassati’s concert,
or join us at the club afterward.
The doors will stay open until 10:00 PM.

KOSTELNÍ SLAVNOSTI (CHURCH CELEBRATIONS)
Founded in 2020 during the pandemic as spiritual support for a closed-off society, these concerts brought melodies that filled empty churches — like light at the end of the tunnel.
And so it remains today, as you, the listeners, fill the churches to the very last seat.
Hope, faith, and shared moments — united through music, history, architecture, and tradition.

Prague, the city of a hundred spires, is the Mother of Cities — and every spire tells a story.
We tell those stories.

MgA. MARKÉTA FASSATI – soprano
Soprano Markéta Fassati was born in Prague, where she graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts (HAMU), majoring in opera singing under Professor Magdaléna Hajóssyová. She is the daughter of the renowned Czech conductor, choirmaster, and music pedagogue Professor Lubomír Mátl. In 2025, Czech Television produced a documentary about her titled Tones of the Soul.

Markéta’s exceptionally broad repertoire spans a rich variety of musical styles — from Baroque to Romanticism, from song literature and opera arias to sacred music. She also performs successfully across other genres, including film music, jazz, and swing.

She is a laureate of several international competitions and vocally inaugurated the opening of the Czech House in London during the Olympic Games.
Throughout her distinguished career, she has appeared on both Czech and international opera and concert stages — including Prague’s National Theatre, the State Opera, and Rudolfinum at home; and abroad in Italy, the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Russia, Asia, and the USA.

Markéta has always been deeply devoted to sacred music, which remains a vital part of her artistic life. Her profound connection to this repertoire inspired her to found the prestigious concert series Kostelní slavnosti (Church Celebrations).

In 2018, she also established the Fassati Art Festival, an international artistic project.
